Three years after the Arab Spring, the World Bank and Center for Mediterranean Integration organized the first Arab Youth and Development Debate in the historic Medina of Tunis on April 1, 2014. The motion that was debated by two teams of youth activists drawn from across the Middle East and North Africa region was “Have Youth Gained from the Arab Spring?” The debate was moderated by Abedrrahim Foukara host of Al Jazeera’s Min Washington show and is to be telecast on Al Jazeera’s Mubashr channel.
