A new program to streamline the electronic transfer of funds in Rwanda is allowing workers to send money home to their families faster and cheaper. In addition civil workers are getting paid on time, which means they can more easily take out loans, pay bills, save and invest. The World Bank program highlights the need for 'financial inclusion' of all sectors of society.
