The World Bank today announced a private placement offering in Switzerland of SwF 100 million (about US$ 77.5 million). The 5-year notes, which have a bullet maturity, carry a 7-1/2 percent coupon and are priced at 101-7/8 percent, for a contractual yield of 6.92 percent on a semi-annual equivalent basis. The notes will mature on November 8, 1995.
The underwriting group, which is lead-managed by Swiss Volksbank, consists of Swiss banks and a group of foreign banks based in Switzerland.
