World Bank Announces US Dollar Two-Year Offering

The World Bank announced a US$150 million issue of two-year U.S. dollar bonds offered in markets outside the United States to central banks, other governmental institutions and international organizations. The bonds, which will mature on September 15, 1991, have an 8.64 percent coupon payable semiannually and an offering price of par. The subscription period for the bonds was from August 23 to 30 and the allocation process has been completed.

The proceeds will partially refinance on September 15 a similar maturing issue in the aggregate principal amount of US$300 million.
