The World Bank announced today an issue of SwF 230.7 million (about $155 million) two-year Swiss franc notes to central banks, other governmental institutions and international organizations. The notes, bearing interest at 4-1/4 percent payable annually, were offered at par on September 8, 1987. A total of 34 institutions subscribed to the issue.
A similar issue amounting to SwF 300 million matured on October 15, 1987.
