The World Bank announced an Issue of $248,200,000 Two-Year U.S. dollar Bonds offered in markets outside the United States. The Bonds, to bear interest at the rate of 11.26% per annum, payable semiannually, were offered at par on February 14, 1984 to central banks, other governmental institutions and international organizations. A total of 55 institutions subscribed to the issue. A similar issue in the aggregate principal amount of $229,450,000 matured on March 15, 1984.
