Algemene Bank Nederland N.V. and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development today announced a placement of 100,000,000.00 Dutch Guilders 9% five-year Notes offered at a price of 99.75%. The Notes have been fully subscribed. The Notes were placed by a syndicate headed by Algemene Bank Nederland N.V. Other members of the syndicate are Amsterdam-Rotterdam Bank N.V.; Bank Mees & Hope NV; Pierson, Heldring and Pierson N.V.; Cooperative Raiffeisen-Boerenleenbank B.A.; Nederlandsche Middenstandsbank nv; Deutsche Bank A.G.; and Union Bank of Switzerland (Securities) Limited.
