Additional Financing for the Third Village Investment Project (COVID-19 Response) for the Kyrgyz Republic
IDA Credit: $8.5 million equivalent
Terms: Maturity = 38 Years, Grace = 6 Years
IDA Grant: $8.5 million equivalent

Project Description: The project development objectives are to build local capacity for participatory development and to improve access to quality community infrastructure services. The Additional Financing will intensify support to communities in Naryn, Issyk-Kul, Chui, and Talas regions of the country, provided under the parent project. Rural communities in 222 out of 266 subdistricts will be eligible to receive support to rebuild livelihoods affected by COVID-19 and to address their health-related needs.
