Jordan - Emergency Cash Transfer COVID-19 Response Project
IBRD Loan: US$350 million
Project ID: P173974
IBRD Loan maturity: 35 years – Grace period of 4.5 years
Project Description: The project aims to provide cash support to poor and vulnerable households affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in Jordan. The project supports the government’s COVID-19 response cash support program and its existing Takaful cash transfer program and will benefit approximately 270,000 beneficiary households (approximately 1.2 million individuals).
