West Bengal Major Irrigation and Flood Management Project

Terms: Maturity: 24 years ; Grace period: 6 years

Project Description: The project will benefit 2.68 million farmers with reliable and efficient irrigation systems in West Bengal, India. The loan will improve irrigation and flood management services, invest in canal modernization and support farmers in building resilience against climate change in the Damodar Valley Command Area on the Damodar river in West Bengal.
