Project Description:
The Children and Youth Protection Project for Argentina’s objectives are to: (i) expand coverage of the family allowances programs; and (ii) improve transparency of social protection programs implemented by national administration of social security (ANSES). The additional financing will scale up the project’s activities and support achievement of its development objectives, including the expansion of universal child allowance (AUH), a family allowance cash transfer program with co-responsibilities in health and education that covers children in the most vulnerable households.
