The Global Young MP Initiative, a platform for legislators age 45 years and below to dialogue on development issues, is led by a steering committee of eight young parliamentarians from all regions of the world. Headed by two Co-Presiding Officers, the committee was formed to take the reins and guide the initiative to increase its scope and impact, and to agree on its governance structure going forward.
