As we wave goodbye to this past decade and prepare to usher in a new one, we are delighted to welcome the World Bank's Water Cartoon Calendar, hot off the press!
Each year, the calendar shines a light on the most pressing water issues faced by communities around the world and aims to stimulate inspiration and ideas in pursuit of a healthy and water-secure world for all.
2020 marks five years from the conclusion of the MDGs; a decade until the conclusion of the SDGs; and 20 years since the release of the first water cartoon calendar supported by the GWSP’s precursor, the Water and Sanitation Program (WSP.) This is, therefore, an appropriate moment to reflect on the journey of GWSP, and this cartoon calendar is a ‘Best Of’ version, featuring many of the beloved cartoons from WSP.
