Aligned with Vision 2030, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Government has spearheaded its digital transformation to improve the quality of life of its citizens, while striving to enable other countries, in the MENA region and globally, to build an inclusive digital economy for a prosperous future for all. The Digital Development Global Practice (DD GP) has been accompanying the Kingdom in its digital transformation through a multi-year advisory "Roadmap to Smart Government" since 2019.
Executive Director for Saudi Arabia, together with the Saudi Digital Government Authority (DGA) and the World Bank DD GP, invite you to the workshop hosted by H.E. Governor Eng. Al Alsuwaiyan, Governor of DGA, to share the KSA Government digital transformation journey. The workshop will focus on DGA's strategy and the digitalization of public services journey shaped by a world class legal and regulatory framework, increased investments in public digital infrastructure, and an enabling environment for data-driven decision making. The objective of the Government's digital transformation is to improve quality of life for the Saudi society and build new sources of growth and jobs for all. As a result of these achievements and expanded partnerships the KSA Government is rightly placed to bridge the digital divide and take a leading role towards digital economy transition for other countries in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and beyond. A panel discussion will be followed by presentations on specific areas of interest to other countries in the MENA region that can benefit from the Saudi experience.
