Land, coastal and marine ecosystems are closely interconnected but they are often managed by different institutions in different geographies with different sources of funding. As a result, they are considered separately in policy decisions, sectoral planning, and institutional approaches. This technical-level event discussed the effectiveness and value of integrated land and seascape programs to achieve both climate and development goals.
