This World Bank event examines the opportunities and challenges facing Tajikistan in the education sector. The discussion will center around the key findings of the “World Development Report 2018: Learning to Realize Education’s Promise.”
Issued annually since 1978, the World Development Report (WDR) assesses specific socio-economic development challenges and aims to be a valuable guide to policy-makers and global audiences. This year’s report focuses on education. Relying on empirical evidence gathered through extensive consultations in 20 countries, the report recommends concrete policy measures to help countries overcome the current crisis in education.
