Yeraly Beksultan is a Senior Private Sector Development Specialist in the World Bank Group's Finance, Competitiveness & Innovation Global Practice (FCI). As a specialist in innovation policy, he has extensive operational experience in implementing complex operations in countries of the former Soviet Union, including Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Uzbekistan. Yeraly also has a wealth of experience in a variety of other private sector development areas such as improving the investment climate (including business licensing), attracting foreign direct investment, formulating competition policy, implementing SME development and supplier development programs, as well as working in technical areas such as Industry 4.0 and IoT. Prior to joining the Bank, Yeraly worked as the Senior Manager of the Aga Khan’s University of Central Asia.
