Vladislava Nemova


Vladislava Nemova is Natural Resources Management Specialist in the World Bank’s Europe and Central Asia (ECA) Region Environment, Natural Resources, and Blue Economy Global Practice.

A Russian national, Ms. Nemova joined the Bank in 2002 and now works in the World Bank’s Russia Country Office in Moscow. Her work focuses on supporting policy dialogue between the World Bank and the Russian Federation Government on green and resilient growth, including sustainable management of forest ecosystems, green financing, cross-sectoral issues of blue and circular economy, and climate change adaptation and mitigation in the ECA region.

She has supported several Bank-funded activities to improve sustainable forest management in Belarus, restore landscapes in Kazakhstan, and to modernize Russia’s hydrometeorological system. Since 2008, she has also been involved in the implementation of a number of regional programs, including Forest Law Enforcement and Governance Phase I and II. Ms. Nemova holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russia.
