Stefanie Stallmeister assumed her position as the Operations Manager for the World Bank in Vietnam on July 1, 2019. In her new capacity, she is engaged in the development and quality implementation of the World Bank’s program in Vietnam.
Stefanie has more than 20 years of professional experience working in East Asia and the Pacific, Africa, Middle East and North Africa, and Europe and Central Asia Regions, including assignments based in Indonesia, the West Bank and Gaza, Timor-Leste, and Papua New Guinea. Prior to her assignment in Vietnam, she was Operations Adviser in the Vice President’s office of the Africa Region. Stefanie holds a master’s degree in education from the University of Münster and in international affairs from American University.
