Paul Bonmartin

Paul Bonmartin is the World Bank Group Alternate Executive Director representing France. Before this nomination, Paul served as Advisor for the ED for one year.

Prior to joining the World Bank Group’s Board of Directors, Paul Bonmartin worked in the French Treasury, as deputy head of the Banking affairs unit, as well as deputy head of the European strategy and coordination unit and project leader for Brexit negotiations and the European recovery plan. He had previously worked in the cabinet of the minister for Decentralization.

Mr. Bonmartin holds a Master in Public Affairs from the Paris Institute of Political Sciences (Sciences Po) and is also a graduate of the French national School of administration, ENA (Ecole national d’administration)
