Narya Ou is a Program Assistant in the World Bank's Chief Economist Office for Asia, based in Washington D.C. She provides comprehensive administrative and logistical supports to the Chief Economist and the team. She also spends half her time supporting the Pacific Islands, Philippines, and BMPT CMUs.
Narya Ou joined the World Bank in 2004 as a Program Assistant with the Cambodia Country Office. She first provided support to the Agriculture & Food, Social Development, and Environment GPs, and later worked as the Executive Assistant to the Country Manager in 2021. From 2023 to 2026, she worked as a Program Assistant in the East Asia and Pacific Chief Economist Office. Prior to the Bank, she worked as an Administrative and Finance Manager with Cooperation Committee for Cambodia (CCC) for 10 years.
