Nada Hamadeh


Nada Hamadeh is a Manager at the World Bank’s Development Data Group. She leads the Bank’s economic, debt, and price data work, as well as its international comparisons of economic outputs and price levels. In this capacity, she oversees the production of flagship data public goods, including the International Debt Statistics, the Classification of Countries by Income, and the World Development Indicators economic series. She also leads global data partnerships, including the International Comparison Program and the Food Prices for Nutrition initiative. Nada is in charge of the Bank’s contributions to advancing economic measurement and the technical assistance it provides to client countries for producing economic indicators to inform national policymaking.

Prior to joining the World Bank, she worked with the United Nations on economic analysis in the Middle East and North Africa, and with the Lebanese Prime Minister on policies for economic recovery. Nada holds a M.Sc. in Finance from the George Washington University.
