Marina Kayumova is a Private Sector Development Specialist in the Global Indicators Group of the Development Economics Vice-Presidency. She joined the World Bank in 2015 and worked on a variety of projects since then. Marina is currently leading Digital Adoption theme and supports the conceptual development of innovation indicators. She has an extensive experience in digital economy and development, innovation and entrepreneurship, digital agriculture, and private sector development. Marina also coordinated the production of flagship reports. Before joining the World Bank Group, Marina was a Research Fellow at George Washington University. Previously she worked for GSM Association in London and European Parliament in Brussels. She holds a Master of Philosophy in Innovation, Strategy and Organization from the University of Cambridge, UK and a Master in Advanced European Studies and International Relations from the European Institute, France.
