Jayashree Srinivasan

Jayashree Srinivasan is a Regulatory Specialist in the Business Ready (B-READY) Project of World Bank’s Development Economics Vice Presidency. Jayashree leads a team measuring land administration and urban planning aspects related to the business environment. Jayashree has extensive experience in  business climate measurement and advising government and policy makers on improving business climate and enabling environment through regulatory reforms. Jayashree has developed several new indicators in the areas of infrastructure and energy access and, digital access and payment systems. Her research and advisory work have focused on competitiveness, business regulation, energy access and construction sector regulatory challenges, including supporting clients in identifying and prioritizing reform areas. She possesses strong communication and analytical skills and ability to build and maintain relationships and conduct policy dialogue with governments, donors and WBG partners. Jayashree holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Delhi University.
