Mr. Husam Abudagga, a Palestinian national, is the country manager for South Sudan.
He joined the World Bank in 1995 in the West Bank and Gaza Country Office and has since held various positions in Middle East and Africa regions, including Deputy Head of Office/Portfolio Manager for Egypt, Lead Operations Officer in the Fragility, Conflict, Violence Unit (FCV) and World Bank Representative to the Kingdom of Lesotho and most recently, Forced Displacement Coordinator in the World Bank Africa Region, based in Uganda.
Abudagga holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the of University of Salford, England and a master’s degree (Cum Laude) in Management of Development from the University of Turin, Italy.
