Dorina Georgieva is an Economist with the Business Ready (B-READY) project of the World Bank’s Development Economics vice-presidency, where she leads the Labor Topic. She has over 10 years of experience leading new projects and research in the area of private sector development, international trade, and jobs. She holds a Master's degree in international relations and economics from Johns Hopkins University. Dorina has studied entrepreneurship, business, and governance in Babson College, UC Berkeley, and Harvard University. She has also attended programs on international development in India, China and Russia.Before joining the World Bank Group, Dorina worked for the United Nations Development Program in Istanbul, the Institute of International Studies in New York, and the Consulate General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Shanghai. Dorina speaks Bulgarian, Russian, and French.
