Claire H. Hollweg

Claire H. Hollweg is the Lead Country Economist for Türkiye, where she leads the World Bank’s engagement on growth, macroeconomics, fiscal policy and trade. Her previous roles include the Senior Country Economist for Türkiye and Cambodia as well as the Senior Economist in the Trade and Integration Unit where she led analytical and policy work on trade issues across the globe. Prior to joining the World Bank, she worked with the Government of South Australia and the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council in Singapore. She received her PhD and Master’s in Economics from the University of Adelaide.
