Claire H. Hollweg is the Senior Country Economist for Cambodia in charge of growth and fiscal advice. She joined the World Bank in 2011 specializing in international trade. Her research interests include development economics, with a focus on the nexus between trade, labor markets, servicification of manufacturing, and upgrading in global value chains. She received her PhD and MA in economics from the University of Adelaide. Before studying economics, she worked as a Journalist in newspaper and radio, and she holds a BS in journalism from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She also has worked with the government of South Australia and the Pacific Economic Cooperation Council in Singapore.
