Alexandre Arrobbio

Alexandre Arrobbio is the World Bank Group's Country Manager for Central African Republic since September 1^st, 2026. He previously served as Country Manager for Tunisia (2021-26), Regional Governance Manager in South Asia (2013-2017) and West Africa (2018-2021). With over 25 years of international experience in steering complex reform programs, managing large-scale multi-sector programs, and advising governments in various countries in Africa, Latin America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, he also has extensive experience of crisis management and transition processes such as post-communist transition (Romania, Albania), post-financial crises (Argentina, Paraguay), conflict and fragile contexts (Afghanistan, Haiti, North Iraq, Sahel). His expertise spans public policy, governance, and geopolitics.
