    After success in health service delivery, Uzbekistan now addresses quality An IDA-financed project is helping the country to improve the quality and overall cost-effectiveness of health care services. The project increased the number of women who receive antenatal care in the early stage of pregnancy from 79.1 in 2004 to 87.7 in 2010. The project also trained 3,763 general practitioners in family medicine and established a large-scale training center for general practitioners in the Tashkent Medical Academy. Read More »
