    Djibouti: Better health care for mothers and children Djibouti has an extremely high incidence of poverty and its health indicators are among the lowest in the world. Since 2002, IDA has been helping Djibouti to meet its fundamental health needs. An IDA-financed project helped reduce infant mortality to 67 deaths per 1,000 live births in 2006 from 124 deaths per 1,000 live births in 2002.
