The World and Latvia
(Customized version of Beyond Economic Growth in progress)

World and Latvia team

A combined team of Latvian educators and specialists from the World Bank's Development Education Program (DEP) are currently working on a country adaptation of the student book Beyond Economic Growth for secondary schools in Latvia. The working title for the book is Pasaule un Latvia (The World and Latvia).

World and Latvia team 1The World and Latvia will encourage discussions on a wide range of development issues by comparing levels of development in Latvia and other countries around the world.

The World and Latvia will be available in Latvian (in print and online) and in English (online).
