Wael Mansour is a Senior Economist at the Macroeconomics, Trade and Investment Global Practice of the World Bank, and is currently the macroeconomics cluster lead in the Jakarta office.
He specializes in topics linked to macroeconomic and fiscal policies. Wael has worked in several regions across the world from East Asia, West Africa and the Middle East, including on many natural resource dependent countries.
Wael holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Sussex in the UK and is a published author in several academic and policy journals.
