On September 12, 1983, the World Bank signed in Washington, D.C. a Loan Agreement with Bank Mees & Hope NV and its subsidiary Mees & Hope Finanzgesellschaft AG. The Loan amounts to Dutch Guilders 100 million (about US$ 34 million equivalent) and is repayable in five equal installments from 1989 through 1993.
The proceeds of the Loan will be used for the general operations of the World Bank.
