The International Bank for Reconstruction and Development released a statement of its principal activities since June 30, 1953, supplementing the Eighth Annual Report of the Bank. The statement was prepared for the use of the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations, in connection with the Council's consideration of the Bank’s Eighth Annual Report. The Seventeenth Session of the Council will convene at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City on March 30, 1954.
