Rosa Delgado joins the World Bank on March 16, 2020, as Country Economist for Cabo Verde and Guinea Bissau, based in Praia. Rosa, a Cabo Verdean national, has 15 years of experience working in public institutions in Cabo Verde, including as an economist at the Central Bank and as a Board Member of the Agency of Economic Regulation. She also worked at the Presidency of Council of Ministers as an adviser for State Reform. Rosa has taught Economics at the School of Economics and Management in Cabo Verde. She holds an MA in Policy Economics from Williams College in USA and an MSc in Management and Industrial Strategy from Technical University of Lisbon – School of Economics and Management in Portugal.
