Beyond the Success: Approaches to Rural Sanitation (9 minutes)

Over the past ten years, the Kingdom of Cambodia has increased and improved its development efforts in almost all sectors. As a result, in 2013 poverty was reduced to a record low of 19.8%. Rural development has also progressed at a remarkable rate. However, rural sanitation remains a problem and requires continued attention. Currently, adequate rural sanitation coverage is only at 38.5%. In response to this, the World Bank's Water and Sanitation Program (WSP) has been actively supporting the Ministry of Rural Development to implement three initiatives: Sanitation Marketing Program, Sanitation Finance Program and the Behavior Change Communications Program. This video highlights the lessons learned from the implementation of these initiatives.
