Launch: New World Bank Group Research Findings on Poverty and Prosperity in Sri Lanka

The World Bank Group is launching two reports that provide insight into Sri Lanka’s development prospects and challenges: A Systematic Country Diagnostic and The Sri Lanka Poverty Assessment.

Opening remarks by Françoise Clottes, Country Director, World Bank Sri Lanka and the Maldives.

Keynote address will be delivered by Hon. Ranil Wickremesinghe, the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka.

The program will include presentations on key findings followed by a discussion.

These studies will become key instruments leading to a formation of the World Bank Group’s country engagement strategy.
