María Antonia Quesada Gámez joined the Doing Business team in March 2014 and currently leads the work of the Enforcing Contracts indicator team. She previously led the Resolving Insolvency indicator team. Prior to joining the World Bank Group, Ms. Quesada Gámez worked as a policy advisor at the European Parliament and at the Permanent Representation of Spain to the European Union. She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Legal Studies from Georgetown University Law Center where she was a Fulbright scholar, a Master of Arts in EU International Relations and Diplomacy Studies from the College of Europe (Belgium), and a dual Law degree from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (France) and Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain). She speaks Spanish, French and Portuguese. She is currently based in the World Bank office in Santiago, Chile.
