Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Health, with the World Bank support, is piloting a new approach to citizen engagement on health service delivery across the country. The closer interaction between patients and health workers has proved effective in improving the quality of medical services. There is a strong support for the introduction of regular community interaction in all health facilities across the country.
