The World Bank’s NARI project offers training, transitional housing and food, counseling and facilitates formal employment in garment factories for nearly 11,000 poor and vulnerable women from five poor northern districts in Bangladesh. The newly built training centers can accommodate 300 trainees in one batch, and are equipped with modern facilities, and latest sewing machines.
