The World Bank announced an issue of $291,100,000 Two-Year U.S. Dollar Bonds offered in markets outside the United States. The Bonds, to bear interest at the rate of 10.38% per annum, payable semiannually, were offered at par on February 12, 1985 to central banks, other governmental institutions and international organizations. A total of 55 institutions subscribed to the issue. A similar issue in the aggregate principal amount of $238,750,000 matured on March 15, 1985.
