Ramesh Ramiah

Ramesh Ramiah is responsible for managing asset-backed securities, covered bonds and global sovereign securities. He also has experience managing US treasury and mortgage-backed securities.

Mr. Ramiah joined the World Bank Investment Management Department in 2005 from the Corporate Finance Department, where he was responsible for policy decisions on counterparty credit exposure. Prior to working at the World Bank, he worked in the Asset Liability Management Group in the IFC Treasury.

Mr. Ramiah’s educational background includes MS in Finance and MS in Computer Science from the George Washington University. He is a Financial Risk Manager holder.
