The World Bank Global Program for Safer Schools (GPSS) is facilitating the knowledge exchanges between the Kyrgyz Republic and Turkey. Kyrgyz government officials and members of parliament visited Istanbul to share their experiences and learn from Turkish authorities about their efforts to reduce seismic vulnerability of school infrastructure in Istanbul.
