Recovery is now within sight since earthquakes hit the people of Nepal on and after April 25, 2015. World Bank Vice President for South Asia, Annette Dixon, describes the progress in rebuilding resilient housing as Nepali homeowners are receiving both financial and technical support from the Government of Nepal’s Housing Reconstruction Program. A range of development partners, including World Bank Group, are lending resources and expertise to help the government with this enormous task.
