World Bank Group President Jim Yong Kim restated the Bank's commitment to end extreme poverty by 2030 and boost shared prosperity in developing countries. At a press conference marking the close of this year's World Bank Group/IMF Annual Meetings, Kim also warned that a U.S. debt default could have serious consequences for developing countries and could affect developed economies as well.
