Thailand's population is growing older quickly. The proportion of people older than 60 will increase dramatically in over the next 50 years, from 15% in 2010 to 35% in 2060. There are currently many separate pension programs covering different portions of the population to address this challenge. However, more can be done to improve effectiveness.
