The Digital Development Partnership Aims to Enable the Potential of Digital Dividends

Although Information and Communication Technologies have been evolving at a furious pace, many people around the world still lack access to digital services. That is why the Digital Development Partnership (DDP), hosted by the World Bank and supported by Microsoft, GSMA and other partners, aims to bring the development community, governments, and the private sector together to close the global digital divide and make sure everyone can reap the benefits of technology. In this video, Toni Townes-Whitley, Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President for the Worldwide Public Sector, outlines her ambitions for the new partnership.
