World Bank Proposes to Offer $200 Million 25-Year Bond Issue

The following announcement is being issued in New York today (December 29) by Morgan Stanley & Co. and The First Boston Corporation.

"George D. Woods, President of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, announced today that the Bank proposes to offer in the United States during the week beginning January 18, 1965, a new issue of $200 million principal amount Twenty-Five Year Bonds of 1965, due February 1, 1990, through a nationwide group of underwriters headed by Morgan Stanley & Co. and The First Boston Corporation. This will be the first World Bank issue offered in the United States since January 1962."
