Mr. George D. Woods, President of the World Bank, today announced that Mr. Hugh H. van Zelm has been appointed Manager, Bond Sales, in the New York Office of the Bank.
Before joining the World Bank, Mr. van Zelm had been associated with the investment banking firm of R. w. Pressprich & Company of New York. He joined the firm in 1930 and became a general partner in 1946.
Mr. van Zelm received the degree of Doctor of Jurisprudence from New York Law School in 1929. He graduated from Princeton University in 1925, receiving the degree of Bachelor of Science in Economics.
