Vice President for External Affairs Cyril Muller shared his thoughts during a knowledge sharing session with MPs on the impact of the Conditional Cash Transfer (CCT) Program, at the House of Representatives. The session was organized by the World Bank and the Knowledge for Development Center at the Congressional Planning and Budget Research Department (CPBRD). The CCT, an anti-poverty flagship program of the Philippine government supported by the World Bank, has been helping young children and pregnant women to be healthy as well as school-aged children to attend school. The CPBRD is one of 14 Knowledge for Development Centers established by partner-institutions and the World Bank in the Philippines. KDCs were established to promote knowledge-sharing and highlight the importance of evidence-based policies.
